The 11th International Workshop on Cryptography, Robustness, and Provably Secure Schemes for Female Young Researchers (CrossFyre) is a hybrid workshop organized by University of Passau and University of Regensburg. The workshop is planned on October 6 and October 7, 2022 (Central European Time) in Passau, Germany (University of Passau, ITZ Building) and will be streamed online at the same time.
This workshop aims to bring female researchers in the field of Cryptography and Information Security together to promote their research topics and careers as women in science and engineering. We hope to encourage a tighter cooperation between women in Cryptography & Information Security and to motivate joint papers. An additional aim is to raise awareness among participants on gender-equality, to present the outcome of relevant social studies on the topic, and to discuss possible measures for improving the current situation. In this spirit, you are kindly invited to attend and give a presentation of your research topic to your fellow participants.
Though the workshop primarily aims at bringing women together to discuss their research and their career opportunities, make contacts, and exchange experiences, male researchers are also welcome. So, we encourage everyone to join the event regardless of their gender.
We welcome not only post-docs and PhD students, but also MSc and BSc students to this workshop and strongly encourage supervisors to support their students' participation. All participants are encouraged to submit abstracts and give talks during the workshop.
Participants are kindly invited to give 20-minute presentation or to present a poster about their current or past work at the workshop. The attendance and the submission to the workshop are free of charge. If you would like to attend the workshop, please register using this form. If you would like to submit your work to the workshop to present a poster or to give a talk, please first register and then submit your abstract or extended abstract via EasyChair.
Format:
